She has dark hair, is wearing a black shirt and jeans, and smiles while on a video call or looking at something on her screen. There is a fluffy pillow on the couch and a plant behind her. Here’s what you can expect from our visits:

Support and care just as you are. During our time together, I look forward to hearing about your journey so far. I want to hear all of the joys and strengths as well as the challenges and tears so far. I’ll usually start by asking, “how are things going?” and I actually, honestly want to know! Hearing your experiences, your goals, and your ups and downs, helps me figure out how to best support you. It also helps to define what success looks like to you and how I can help you get there.

From there, I’ll share both information and application to begin tackling your breastfeeding challenges. I’ll share all I can to help you, teach you, empower you, and support you on your breastfeeding journey, no matter where you are in your journey. As I help you learn new information, new skills, tips, and tricks, I’ll help ensure you and your baby stay healthy. It’s my goal to relieve a little stress and bring a little more joy to your parenting journey.

It genuinely humbles and amazes me that through my work as a nurse and lactation consultant in multiple settings, I’ve helped transform the lives of parents and babies for the last 15+ years. Now I get to offer that to you, my own private client!

Your visit may be fully covered by insurance, however, please note that a flat travel fee of $35 will be added for ALL in-home visits. This fee helps cover transportation, travel time, and any extra expenses involved in bringing care directly to your home and this expense is not typically covered by insurance.

Lactation consultant services, like our visits, are typically eligible for 100% reimbursement with insurance. Additionally, our visit would also be an approved expense when using a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Check with your insurance for reimbursement options.
