Eat well and enough…
10 days into January and I know the new year may be tempting you to “diet”, “lose the baby weight”, “get back on track” or “back in shape”.
However, now may not be the best time to calorie restrict.
You’re already burning and extra 200-500 calories a day nursing.
Focus instead on nourishing yourself and your baby.
Make sure you’re eating well and enough to sustain yourself and your nursing baby.
Try to stay above 1500 - 1800 calories per day to minimize your risk of decreased supply.
